Total Print Run: 700 COPIES - 100 Signed and Numbered in Slipcase - 20 "P" Editions in Slipcase

"Publisher's Editions" are the same as the Deluxe Edition copies, only they are signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number. I make 20 of these to distribute to family and friends. These editions are extremely rare.

HERBERT PAUS is best known today for the faultless draftsmanship, design and brilliant color of his long-running covers for Popular Science. A member of the government's Committee for Pictorial Publicity in World War I, he painted many effective war posters, which led to work for Woman's Home Companion, American Magazine, Collier's and others, and for advertisers including Hart Schaffner & Marx, Goodyear, General Motors, Certain-teed and Victor Records. The book reproduces scores of illustrations from original paintings, rare tear sheets and photographs.

By Daniel Zimmer. 224 pages, 9x12 inches, hardcover. Presented in a slipcase, with a tipped-in full-color bookplate signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number by the author. No shrink-wrap. F+/NM condition.
