"Publisher's Editions" are the same as the Deluxe Edition copies, only they are signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number. I make 20 of these to distribute to family and friends. These editions are extremely rare.
STANLEY MELTZOFF was one of the first paperback artists noted for science fiction, painting dramatic covers that escaped the pulp influence of the period. He also painted for Scientific American, Life, Fortune and The Saturday Evening Post, won 25 awards from the Society of Illustrators, and became one of the first and foremost painters of game fish, a regular in National Geographic. The book features scores of paintings reproduced from the original art, plus rare photos and tear sheets.
224 pages, 9x12 inches, hardcover with dust jacket. Presented in a slipcase, with a tipped-in full-color bookplate signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number by the author. In shrink-wrap. Mint condition.
