Total Print Run: 1000 COPIES - 100 Signed and Numbered in Slipcase - 20 "P" Editions in Slipcase
"Publisher's Editions" are the same as the Deluxe Edition copies, only they are signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number. I make 20 of these to distribute to family and friends. These editions are extremely rare.
TOM LOVELL is best known today for his Western and fine art, and earlier books on him have focused almost entirely on that side of his career. This book explores his earlier days as an illustrator, with over 270 illustrations reproduced from original paintings and drawings and scores of rarely seen tear sheets from the pulps, the slicks and beyond.
By Daniel Zimmer. 224 pages, 9x12 inches, hardcover with dust jacket. Presented in a slipcase, with a tipped-in full-color bookplate signed and marked with a "P" instead of a number by the author. In shrink-wrap. Mint condition.
